The training course is focused towards industry representatives, including relevant regulatory and compliance agencies from Jordan, Lebanon, the Netherlands, and other EU countries, to learn about international customer vetting and due diligence requirements and compliance with United Nations Security Council Resolutions (UNSCRs) that seek to prevent the proliferation of dual-use materials. Specifically, this training course will raise awareness of illicit procurement tactics/indicators, red flags and shell company characteristics; include sessions on international chemical supply chain management standards; and provide measures to prevent the sale of dual-use chemicals, chemical weapon precursors, and related production equipment.
