CRDF Global, AcuTech, and Janus Global Operations, on behalf of the U.S. Department of State’s Chemical Security Program (CSP), will implement a remote train-the-trainer security vulnerability assessment (SVA) and hazardous chemical identification and neutralization training for up to 20 participants representing Nigerian academia and chemical industry. During this remote training, instructors from Janus and AcuTech will train participants in SVA, chemical identification, and chemical neutralization methods and procedures through online video modules and interactive sessions. The goal of these activities is to equip participants with the skills needed to conduct SVAs and basic chemical identification and neutralization activities independently utilizing locally available resources. This train-the-trainer initiative will empower academic faculty and chemical industry representatives to safely and effectively conduct SVAs and neutralize hazardous chemical stockpiles.
