CRDF Global, on behalf of the U.S. Department of State’s Chemical Security Program (CSP), is organizing a virtual chemical security training titled: Chemical Threat Reduction and Incident Preparedness for First Responders and Law Enforcement. The training will contain an asynchronous online course of 10 video modules, on topics including recognizing chemical warfare agents, critical field-triage and prehospital management skills, and interagency chemical incident scene forensic investigation and emergency action planning. This training course will be followed by an interactive live webinar and an online exam, after which participants will receive a certificate for their completion of the training. The live webinar will feature international subject matter experts Dieter Rothbacher and Agencia Ltd, who will conduct a tabletop exercise, facilitate group discussions, and answer participant questions.
